EXPLAINABLE AI · AAOIFI ALIGNED · EU AI ACT ENGINEERED

Explainable AI Compliance Engine for Sharia-Aligned Capital Markets.

Multi-methodology equity screening for institutional Islamic finance. Source-attributed verdicts. Replay-ready audit trail. EU AI Act conformity engineered into the architecture — not bolted on as policy.

METHODOLOGIES

Four methodologies. Side by side. Continuous verdicts.

A single verdict on a single methodology hides the institutional choice that matters. HalalRegTech AI runs four methodology engines in parallel against the same security and surfaces every divergence — with the rule, the threshold, and the source figure that produced it.

AAOIFI STD NO. 21

Reference framework

The institutional reference for global Islamic finance. Sector screens, debt and interest-bearing securities ratios, illiquid-asset thresholds — all encoded with explicit clause-level citation back to Standard 21.

DJIM-ALIGNED

Dow Jones Islamic Market

Trailing 24-month average market-cap denominators, S&P Dow Jones thresholds, purification ratio computation. Divergences from AAOIFI are exposed at the rule level.

S&P SHARIAH

S&P methodology

S&P Dow Jones Shariah index methodology — market-cap-based denominators, sector exclusions and ratio limits. Side-by-side comparison with AAOIFI in a single verdict view.

HOUSE v1

Configurable per tenant

Your Sharia Supervisory Board’s methodology, signed cryptographically to the methodology document hash. Roll a new version, route to your SSB, deploy across portfolios in one workflow.

INSTITUTIONAL DEFENSIBILITY

Three architectural choices that make audit possible.

01 · METHODOLOGY VERSIONING

Signed, replayable, rollback-ready

Every methodology is a signed YAML document with a cryptographic attestation bound to the document hash. Roll forward. Roll back. Revoke an entire methodology version across all of a tenant’s outstanding verdicts in one operation.

02 · SOURCE ATTRIBUTION

Verdict to iXBRL fact ID

Every input figure is cited back to its source — iXBRL fact ID, page number, or text snippet offset. A non-compliant verdict names the rule that failed, the numerator and denominator that produced the ratio, and the margin by which the threshold was exceeded.

03 · REPLAY DETERMINISM

Every verdict reproducible

Every historical verdict is reproducible from its inputs. Hash-chained audit log. Tamper-evident. The same view your internal auditor will use, and the same view a competent authority would request in any ex-post review.

REGULATORY POSITIONING

Engineered for the EU’s specific intersection of financial, data, and AI regulation.

Four regulatory axes shape the design. The compliance architecture is part of the platform — not a deployment overlay.

EU AI ACT

Engineered to Articles 9–15 (risk management, data governance, transparency, human oversight, accuracy). Conservative high-risk-controls baseline regardless of Annex III §5 classification outcome.

GDPR

Gottesman Investments is the controller; Israel benefits from the EC Adequacy Decision (2011, confirmed). EU-to-Israel transfers do not require SCCs. DPIA finalised at M3.

DORA

ICT third-party provider pack: incident-reporting SLA, TLPT testability, third-party register, exit and data-return plan. Available on contract to authorised financial entities.

AAOIFI

Methodologies referenced explicitly to AAOIFI Standard 21. Independent AAOIFI-aligned advisory letter is an M6 deliverable. SSB sign-off workflow live at TRL 6.
